Fort Atkinson won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt a 56-25 loss at the hands of the Monona Grove Silver Eagles. The Blackhawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fort Atkinson's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7. As for Monona Grove, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Fort Atkinson will be playing in front of their home fans against Milton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Monona Grove, they will venture away from home to face off against Beaver Dam at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Monona Grove knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Beaver Dam likes a good challenge.
