Volleyball Recap: Pomona Comes Up Short

Pomona was the 3-1 winner over La Puente when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for La Puente, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pomona will challenge rival Edgewood at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, La Puente is set to square off against their familiar foe Workman at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
