Basketball Recap: Aaron Harrell Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Scott Central

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Morton, Leake County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Scott Central Rebels as they made off with a 50-24 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-42 last Tuesday.

Leake County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Harrell led the charge by putting up ten points and five rebounds. Nigel Kincaid was another key player, earning six points and eight steals.

Leake County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Leake County pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Scott Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Forest at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will be up against the Bearcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.22 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
