Baseball Recap: Juanita Sanchez Complex Takes a Loss

Juanita Sanchez Complex lost against Mt. Pleasant back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cavaliers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kilties. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Juanita Sanchez Complex saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Enmanual Martinez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double. Isaiah Bento-Vasquez was another, going 2-for-3 with one double.

Juanita Sanchez Complex's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Juanita Sanchez Complex will challenge Classical at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers are facing the Purple at the right time seeing as the Purple are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Mt. Pleasant, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 win against Blackstone Valley Prep on the 28th.
