Arthur County won the last time they faced Cody-Kilgore and Jaycen Hanna did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wolves claimed a resounding 62-16 victory over the Cowboys/Cowgirls for which the team can thank Hanna, who rushed for 212 yards and four scores on only six carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Arthur County's defense and their six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Colton Pilakowski and Camden Mironenko, who racked up all six sacks between them.

Although Cody-Kilgore took the loss, they still got scores from Kaden McNare and Knox Wobig.

The win made it two in a row for Arthur County and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Cody-Kilgore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Arthur County will welcome Sioux County at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Cody-Kilgore, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hay Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys/Cowgirls will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
