Basketball Recap: Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Clay/Clay City, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Martinsville Bluestreaks 49-46. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-9. As for Martinsville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Farina South Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for Martinsville, they will challenge Chrisman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
