Baseball Recap: Mountain House Comes Up Short

Mountain House fell victim to East Union and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured 15 defeats in a row.

Mountain House's loss dropped their record down to 4-15-1. As for East Union, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain House will head out to take on Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Union, they will venture away from home to face off against Oakdale at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Lancers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
