Volleyball Recap: New Britain Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Hartford on Monday, New Britain came back down to earth. The Golden Hurricanes came up short against the Conard Red Wolves on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Hurricanes in their meetings with the Red Wolves: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-15, 25-12.

New Britain's offense was headlined by Alexa Lowe and Saniyah Demus, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Olivia Dupont and her three assists.

New Britain's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Conard, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

New Britain has already played their next match (against East Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Conard also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Manchester.
