Baseball Recap: Spartanburg Takes a Loss

Spartanburg suffered their closest defeat since April 25, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Wade Hampton Generals by a score of 7-5. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Generals earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Spartanburg now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Wade Hampton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

While Spartanburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
