There's no place like home for Middle College, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-26 win over the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-16 back in January.

Leading Middle College to victory were Haidyn Lakey and Lebron Hasan. Lakey posted 18 points and three steals, while Hasan dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. The contest was Lakey's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kaosisochukwu Udeze, who earned four points and three steals.

Middle College's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cougars face off against the Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Animo South Los Angeles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
