Volleyball Recap: Franklin Monroe Has No Trouble Against Tri-County North

Franklin Monroe won the last time they faced Tri-County North and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jets put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jets.

Franklin Monroe walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-16.

Franklin Monroe can attribute much of their success to Brooklyn Miller, who had four digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Franklin Monroe was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tri-County North only served six aces.

Despite the loss, Tri-County North saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Paityn Davidson had 24 digs. Davidson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Franklin Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Tri-County North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
