After losing to Clovis the last time they met, Clovis East decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Timberwolves were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Cougars on Friday. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by eight runs or more this season.

With the win, Clovis East broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-8. As for Clovis, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clovis East will welcome Central at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Grizzlies have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Clovis, they will be playing at home against Clovis West at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
