Superior's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Nevis Tigers. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2021.

Isabelle Barker paced Superior's offense, picking up six kills. Barker got some help from Claire Egnash and her 11 assists. Egnash was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Superior's record now sits at 7-10. As for Nevis, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Superior and Nevis will both be playing Cloquet the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Lumberjacks at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 12:15 p.m.
