Volleyball Preview: Lindale Eagles vs. Kemp Yellowjackets
The Lindale Eagles will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Kemp Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. Kemp took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lindale, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Lindale made easy work of Mabank and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Lindale walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-19.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lindale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Macy Luster, who had five digs, three aces, and a kill. Luster is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Reagan Hope, who had 13 digs.
Meanwhile, Kemp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against Athens, falling 3-0.
Lindale pushed their record up to 29-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kemp, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.
