Mandarin won the last time they faced Atlantic Coast and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Stingrays. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

While Mandarin might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Atlantic Coast scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Kyla Hollis paced Mandarin's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hollis got some help from Madison Cady and her 15 assists. Olivia Hollis controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Mandarin's record is now 2-0. As for Atlantic Coast, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Mandarin will head out on the road to face off against Oakleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atlantic Coast, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgeview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
