It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Robinson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the West Cabarrus Wolverines 9-8. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won three in a row.

Robinson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aury Greenfield, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Greenfield a new career-high in hits (three). Another was Jace Abraham, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one double.

Robinson's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Robinson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against South Rowan on the 28th. As for West Cabarrus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-7 win against Northwest Cabarrus on the 27th.
