Basketball Recap: Arroyo Takes a Loss

Arroyo lost against Encinal back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Arroyo Dons lost to the Encinal Jets at home by a 53-38 margin. The game marked the Dons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Arroyo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Encinal, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arroyo will square off against Hayward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Encinal, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Archie Williams at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
