For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Opp and Straughn meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Bobcats blew past the Tigers 11-3. Considering the Bobcats have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Opp has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Straughn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Opp beat Straughn by a score of 18-1 on Thursday.
