Baseball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Troy Christian Eagles.

Northwestern saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Troy Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern will venture away from home to take on New Bremen at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Troy Christian, they will square off against Legacy Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
