Basketball Recap: Franklinton Drops Highest Score of Season Against J.F. Webb + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklinton). They took down the J.F. Webb Warriors 70-53 on Monday. This was payback for the Red Rams, who suffered a 53-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Franklinton was led to victory by Amaure Williams and Amahrian Ponton. Williams posted 13 points along with six boards and four steals, while Ponton shot 78% from the field to rack up 13 points and six assists. Those 13 points gave Ponton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Hayes, who put up ten points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Franklinton was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Franklinton and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points over those games. As for J.F. Webb, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
