With a playoff win on the line, New Castle rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Heritage Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three matches in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Nick Godby and Brodey Brown, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Caleb Inman and his 36 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

New Castle's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Heritage Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

New Castle will square off against Cathedral at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Heritage Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
