Boerne is a perfect 3-0 against Wagner since January of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Greyhounds will challenge the Thunderbirds at 7:15 p.m. Boerne has given up an average of 2.6 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Boerne is headed into Friday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They came up short against New Braunfels on Tuesday, falling 5-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Boerne were already down 4-0.

Meanwhile, Wagner and Alamo Heights finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw on Tuesday.

Wagner's draw gives them a new season record of 9-8-3. As for Boerne, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

Everything went Boerne's way against Wagner in their previous meeting back in January, as Boerne made off with a 7-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
