Softball Recap: Linden-Kildare Triumphs

Linden-Kildare won the last time they faced Bowie and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 7-3.

Ada Whatley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on one hit and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Allie Watson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacee Quaid, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Linden-Kildare's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Bowie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

As of now, neither Linden-Kildare nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
