Volleyball Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

After flying high against Magnolia last Thursday, Orange came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Western Pioneers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-9.

Angela Jasso had a dynamite game For Western., getting 23 digs. Jasso has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Orange's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Western, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Orange will head out to take on Century at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Western, they will venture away from home to challenge Saddleback at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
