Basketball Recap: Gallia Academy Takes a Loss

If Gallia Academy was riding high fresh off their 66-44 takedown of Washington last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gallia Academy Blue Devils were dealt a 60-22 defeat at the hands of the Fairfield Union Falcons on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Falcons are ranked 23rd).

Gallia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Fairfield Union, the win keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.

As of now, neither Gallia Academy nor Fairfield Union have any future games scheduled.
