Recap: Tennessee School for the Deaf vs. Mississippi School for the Deaf

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Mississippi School for the Deaf and Tennessee School for the Deaf. Mississippi School for the Deaf took the game and then some with a 48-6 victory on Saturday over Tennessee School for the Deaf. The success made it back-to-back wins for Mississippi School for the Deaf.

The matchup started off well for Mississippi School for the Deaf, whose offense put up 24 first-half points. Tennessee School for the Deaf countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 24-6 going into the half. Mississippi School for the Deaf put the contest away in the third quarter with 16 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Tennessee School for the Deaf back to even at 1-1.

Next week Mississippi School for the Deaf take on Louisiana School for the Deaf at Homecoming at 6:00 PM.
