Soccer Recap: Dalton Academy Takes a Loss

Dalton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Gordon Central Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pumas of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Dalton Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Gordon Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Coming up, Dalton Academy will venture away from home to challenge Armuchee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Armuchee their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Gordon Central, they will host Fannin County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fannin County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 15 goals over their last three contests.
