Basketball Recap: Lower Lake Comes Up Short

Lower Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost to the Cloverdale Eagles at home by a 50-33 margin. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 69-53 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lower Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cloverdale, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Lower Lake will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middletown at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Cloverdale, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-69 defeat against St. Bernard's on the 20th.
