Basketball Game Preview: Stillwater Pioneers vs. Owasso Rams

Stillwater hasn't had much luck against Owasso recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Stillwater Pioneers will head out on the road to take on the Owasso Rams at 6:00 p.m.

Stillwater is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Saturday. They took a 51-35 bruising from Yukon. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Millers are ranked 122nd).

Meanwhile, Owasso entered their tilt with Putnam City West on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their game with ease, bagging an 82-9 victory over the Patriots.

Owasso's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Stillwater, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Stillwater might still be hurting after the 57-31 defeat they got from Owasso in their previous matchup back in January. Can Stillwater avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
