Soccer Game Preview: Southside vs. John F. Kennedy

The Southside Cardinals will be taking part in a tournament against the John F. Kennedy Rockets at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday. Southside's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Southside saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of Burbank by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, John F. Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Warren, falling 3-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Rockets couldn't quite close it out.

John F. Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Southside, they now have a losing record at 1-2-2.
