Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chewelah). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Mary Walker Chargers 81-33. With the Cougars ahead 58-21 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Mary Walker lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Marc Andrew, who posted eight points and three steals. Jonah Howder was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points.

Chewelah's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Mary Walker, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Chewelah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-54 loss against Colville on the 3rd. Mary Walker has also already played their next game, a 60-51 defeat against Republic on the 4th.
