Volleyball Game Preview: Tooele Buffaloes vs. Hillcrest Huskies

The Tooele Buffaloes will head out on the road to face off against the Hillcrest Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tooele has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 7.

Last Wednesday, Tooele came up short against Cottonwood and fell 3-1.

While Tooele had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest lost 3-0 to Park City on Tuesday. The Huskies have struggled against the Miners recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Hillcrest was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Park City work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-22.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Tooele, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Tooele couldn't quite get it done against Hillcrest in their previous matchup on April 1st as they fell 3-1. Can the Buffaloes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
