Baseball Game Preview: Corinth Warriors vs. New Hope Trojans

The Corinth Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the New Hope Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Hope took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Corinth, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Corinth made easy work of West Point and carried off a 12-2 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Green Wave recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, New Hope unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of East Webster by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Trojans have suffered since April 19, 2024.

New Hope's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Corinth, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Corinth couldn't quite finish off New Hope when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can Corinth avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
