It was a proper cat-fight when First Baptist Academy challenged Canterbury on Wednesday. The First Baptist Academy Lions came out on top against the Canterbury Cougars by a score of 74-63. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Canterbury's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Benbenisty, who posted 16 points. That's the most points Benbenisty has posted since back in December of 2024. Kyle Scharlau was another key player, putting up 15 points.

First Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Canterbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

First Baptist Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-37 victory against Neumann on the 7th. Canterbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
