Soccer Recap: Walhalla Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Walhalla was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of the Wren Hurricanes by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Razorbacks of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Israel Martinez, who's now up to four this season.

Walhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wren, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Walhalla will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pickens at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for Wren, they have already played their next game, a 1-1 victory against T.L. Hanna on the 24th.
