Volleyball Recap: Harbor Creek's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against North East last Thursday, Harbor Creek came back down to earth. The Huskies lost 3-0 to the Fort LeBoeuf Bison on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Bison: they've now lost five in a row.

Harbor Creek was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Fort LeBoeuf work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24, 25-20.

Harbor Creek's offense was headlined by Eva Gross and Brianna Masterson, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Bailey Sanfrotello and her 11 assists. Finally, Masterson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Having lost for the first time this season, Harbor Creek fell to 3-1. As for Fort LeBoeuf, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Harbor Creek will challenge rival Erie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fort LeBoeuf is set to square off against their familiar foe Warren at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
