Basketball Game Preview: Camden-Frontier Redskins vs. Jonesville Comets

Camden-Frontier is 0-3 against Jonesville since December of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Camden-Frontier Redskins will face off against the Jonesville Comets at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, Camden-Frontier lost to Pittsford on the road by a 50-32 margin. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 508th, while the Wildcats are ranked 128th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to 59 points the game before, Jonesville was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 31-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hanover-Horton. The game marked Jonesville's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Camden-Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Jonesville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Camden-Frontier was taken down by Jonesville 65-13 in their previous meeting back in December of 2021. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Camden-Frontier was down 44-5.
