Basketball Recap: Brockway Takes a Loss

Brockway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 74-49 to the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rovers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 51-24 loss back in December of 2024.

Brockway's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Brockway will square off against St. Marys at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they will take on Redbank Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Redbank Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 matchups.
