Volleyball Game Preview: West Panthers vs. Skyline Eagles

The West Panthers will head out to take on the Skyline Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, West came up short against Alta and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 23-25, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Skyline came into Tuesday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Highland on Tuesday.

Skyline had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-16.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

West suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Skyline in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
