Basketball Recap: Central Texas Christian Has No Trouble Against Non Varsity Opponent

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Live Oak Classical, Central Texas Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 41-20 margin over Non Varsity Opponent. That 21 point margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Central Texas Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Liz Burt out in front who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Burt a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynlee Richardson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

The victory snapped Central Texas Christian's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Central Texas Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-13 win against Keystone on the 18th. Non Varsity Opponent has also already played their next game (against Pulaski County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
