Football Recap: Centerville Drops Season-High Score on Simms + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Box Elder, Centerville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Simms Tigers with a sharp 52-26 win. The Miners' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Simms lost, don't look at Joseph Feist. Despite the final result, he rushed for 202 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry.

Centerville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Simms, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Centerville will venture away from home to square off against Choteau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Miners surely won't give up without a fight. As for Simms, they will be playing at home against Belt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
