Soccer Recap: Dock Mennonite Comes Up Short

Dock Mennonite lost against Calvary Christian Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pioneers lost 4-0 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Dock Mennonite can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Calvary Christian Academy are ranked 38th).

Dock Mennonite has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-1.

Looking ahead, Calvary Christian Academy will challenge Jenkintown at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Jenkintown have averaged an impressive 5 goals per game this season.
