Soccer Recap: Higley Takes a Loss

Higley lost against South Mountain back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Higley Knights might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the South Mountain Jaguars an easy 5-0 victory. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Higley's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for South Mountain, they moved to 3-3-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Higley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Casteel at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. South Mountain and Skyline will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skyline's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
