Bertrand's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5. As for Alma, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Bertrand wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-38 victory against Paxton on the 1st. Alma has also already played their next contest, a 61-52 win against Dundy County-Stratton on the 1st.
