Volleyball Game Preview: North Boone Vikings vs. Stillman Valley Cardinals + How To Watch

North Boone hasn't had much luck against Stillman Valley recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. North Boone will be strutting in after a win while Stillman Valley will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with nine defeats in a row, North Boone turned things around against Alden-Hebron on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Green Giants.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant North Boone was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7.

Gabryella Taylor was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 22 assists and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Taylor wasn't the only good servers: North Boone was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Stillman Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Fulton on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Cardinals have struggled against the Steamers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

North Boone's record now sits at 10-21. As for Stillman Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-17.
