Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Freeman

Freeman came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Sacred Heart Irish by a score of 3-1. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Irish, too.

In the three sets Freeman was on fire: they won each by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 22-25, 25-12, 25-7.

Freeman was led to victory by Aniston Bartunek and Addison Kastanek. Bartunek hit 100% for five kills and 11 digs, four aces, and one block, while Kastanek had 13 digs and four assists. With that strong performance, Kastanek is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

They weren't the only good servers: Freeman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matchups.

Freeman's record is now 16-3. As for Sacred Heart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.
