Volleyball Recap: Union Academy Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

After flying high against North Rowan on Tuesday, Union Academy came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell 3-1 to the North Stanly Comets on Thursday. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Comets earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: North Stanly scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Union Academy still got an impressive performance from Kylie Harman, who had 15 digs.

Union Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3. As for North Stanly, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Union Academy will challenge Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Stanly, they will take on Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
