Volleyball Recap: Nyack Comes Up Short

Nyack was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Jay Patriots. If the Red Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Nyack's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for John Jay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Nyack will square off against Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for John Jay, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Wallkill on the 27th.
