Cambria-Friesland waltzed into their matchup on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Horicon Marshmen. This was payback for the Hilltoppers, who suffered a 4-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Enya Heller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Rayna Helmer, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. Janell Villarreal was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Cambria-Friesland's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Horicon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
