Football Recap: Reeltown Rebels vs. Cottonwood Bears
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Reeltown had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cottonwood Bears with a sharp 42-20 win. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Leading Reeltown to victory were Traylen Roberts and Alijah Woods. Roberts rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns, while Woods gained 79 total yards and four touchdowns. What's more, Woods also racked up 48 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September.
Reeltown didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Woods, Tae Martin, and Zarrell Lockhart picked up one apiece.
